I'm a researcher, cognitive explorer, and experience architect. I
was born in the US and grew up in Medellín, Colombia. I graduated
from MIT, where I studied Computation and Cognition as well as
Theater Arts.
My mission is to investigate both the material and subjective
foundations of our world, and to apply that knowledge in the
service of compassionate intelligence, more joyful human-computer
interactions, and more effective psychiatry. I'm open for work,
artistic projects, and fun adventures.
I spend much of my time looking for links between realms of
abstraction — from fundamental mathematical and physical
realities, to the cognitive machinery we use to consider them, to
the philosophical principles that guide our thinking. I aspire to
tell beautiful and compelling stories about these realms.
I speak English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. I get along very
well with old people and babies. I'm obsessed with mangos, spicy
food, and guacamole.

Love, Death & Robots for a beautiful depiction of
several ideas that fascinate me.
